Today (16 November), the International Day for Tolerance proclaimed by the United Nations (UN) , is being observed across the world to raise awareness about the importance of tolerance in society.

According to the UN, tolerance is respect, acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world's cultures, our forms of expression and ways of being human.

Here are my haiku on the occasion of the observation.
