HAPPY DIWALI!

Here is a 'Lakshami's Divine Footprints Wall Art of Rajasthan and Haiku' for Diwali greetings.

In Rajasthan, the wall art is called 'mandana' and any social and religious festival begins with drawing of a mandana on the outer wall of the front door and the wall of the worship place inside the house.

Mandanas are drawn by the women of the house in the morning to begin the auspicious event of the day.

On Diwali, the footprints of Goddess Lakshami are drawn - called Pagalya - to welcome her to the house and bless with peace and prosperity.
