With COVID-19 pandemic speed surging unexpectedly and the virus mutating itself, the coronavirus cases continue to soar, political leaders unable to manage public health crisis anymore. The tough times and the style of leadership have turned out to be a shocking mis-match.
In a poor country like India, the situation has become grim. Even in advanced and rich nations, the rate of transmission and deaths is going from bad to worse.
The transmission has started affecting children also. Prolonged lockdowns have lead to steep economic downfall and public health system to a sudden collapse.
No break through of snapping the chain of transmission or a vaccine of the corona
virus is in sight.
To save the skin, the leaders in power and frontline warriors have started throwing their hands up. It seems, the first assualt on the enemy has turned futile. People have been now left to their fate and have been told to fend for themselves.
