Here is an activity of making a fold-and-cut five-corner Christmas star
Proceed in the following eight steps
1. Take 10 cm X 17 cm rectangular piece of paper and fold it in half lengthwise.
2. Fold into half once again to mark the quarter-way point marked ‘A’ and unfold.
3. Bring the top right corner to mark ‘A’ which will be your reference point for next step.
4. Fold the bottom right corner over the edge.
5. Fold the bottom right edge once again to adjoining edge to get a pizza shape.
6. Cut a sharp wedge from pizza shape as shown by scissors-mark
7. Unfold the wedge to get a five-point star
8. Experiment with the sharpness of the wedge with new paper folding.
