It's time to reignite collective commitment to education for sustainability: UN

On the occasion of International Education Day-2022 (Jan 25), the UN Secretary-General António Guterres reminded about the UNESCO’s global Futures of Education report which suggested that 'transforming the future requires an urgent re-balancing or our relationships with each other, with nature as well as with technology that permeates our lives, bearing breakthrough opportunities' while urging the world community to recognize that 'education was essential for the success of all 17 of its goals. Sustainable Development Goal 4, in particular, aims to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” by 2030.'
