Jain Paryushan Chalisa
1. Paryushan's here, a time to pause and see / To look within, and set our spirit free.
2. Not just a rite, but journey deep inside / Where faults are cleansed, and ego gently dies.
3. In holy words, and chants that fill the air, / We seek the light, and banish all despair.
4. From slumber wake, to wisdom's guiding hand, / To purify, and better understand.
5. With mindful hearts, and bodies giving way, / To growth and change, that brighten every day.
6. For liberation's call, a joyful, hopeful strive, / In inner peace, our souls can truly thrive.
7. Paryushan calls, a quiet door,/ To dwell within, and seek much more.
8. From slumber deep, to wisdom's glow, / A cleansing light, our spirits know.
9. With holy words, and heart's soft plea, / We purify, and truly see.
10. Old shadows fade, like morning mist, / A new, pure path, by spirit kissed.

12. Towards freedom's joy, we gently climb, / Embracing grace, beyond all time.
13. For Jains, Paryushan is a precious time, / An inward journey, a spirit's climb.

15. From old traditions, a path unfolds, / Where heart's true story bravely holds.
16. With holy words and chants so clear, / Meditation calms all doubt and fear.
17. Through penance, thought, and mindful grace, / Life finds its purity, in this sacred space.
18. Awakening comes from slumber's night, / From shadowed ignorance to wisdom's light.
19. A holy season, for self to mend,/ Through deep devotion, and growth without end.
20. Body and mind, in practice steep, / Washing away old wrongs, while new virtues leap.

23. Repent mistakes, with honest plea, / Forgiveness sought, sets spirit free.

25. Release the weight of deeds gone by, / Let karma's layers fade and die.
26. "Micchami Dukkadam," words we speak, / Forgiveness asked, for strong and weak.
27. For thoughts unkind, or words that sting, / Harmony's song, our hearts will sing.
28. Paryushan calls, a gentle guide, / From worldly wants, to step aside.
29. Not just to gain, but to ascend, / Towards liberation, without end.
30. Through penance, study, disciplines, / A rebirth starts, where true self wins.

37. To shed old layers, karma's chain, / From past mistakes, we break the pain.
38. Paryushan shows, life's truest aim, / Not worldly gains, nor empty fame.
39. But rising up, to set us free, / A pure new spirit, for all to see.
40. Through penance deep, and honest thought, / A fresh new start, for all we've sought.
