Dr Lalit Kishore, researcher and educator associated with Disha Foundation [1] of Jaipur - who had been promoting visual literacy, visual intelligence, non-art use of art, visual research with use of mobilography for the last five years - has won the cover page honours from the Photography of the World Group (see inset collage) that has around 800 members.
According to Dr Kishore, since most learners, including those with special needs, are visual learners; it is required of educational institutions to make their teachers and managers visual literates through in-house visual skills training and techniques that promote visual intelligence through classroom instruction. Kishore (1989) has done a book [2] on audio-visual aids that also promotes the concrete and semi-concrete experience as a part of experiential learning.
