Jaipur sends two entries for Commonwealth Findel-CASTME Awards-2021


Jaipur-based educators and innovators have sent two entries for Commonwealth level Findel-CASTME Awards. The awards are instituted by the Commonwealth Association of Science, Mathematics and Technology Educators (CASTME), London, and sponsored by the Findel International Education Resources and Philip Harris [1].


The individual entry has been sent by Dr Lalit Kishore and the syndicate entry has been sent by three innovators Prabha Awasthi, Dr Rajiv Agrawal and L. Kishore.


There are three awards for the innovative educational projects from across the world including 54 Commonwealth countries which address the social or human context of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The three awards are:The Findel CASTME Education Award; The Findel CASTME Protect Our Planet Award; and The Findel CASTME Community Award.


The names of the winners of the awards will be announced at the Association of Science Education (ASE) Annual Conference-2022 to be held from 05 - 12 January, 2022, to be held at Sheffield Hallam University - a public research university in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England - from 5th to 8th January 2022.


According to the award scheme is run by the CASTME, the aim is to share best practice across the STEM disciplines and to demonstrate the importance of STEM to local environments, schools and communities. Awards are offered for educational projects, which address the social or human context of STEM.
