The booklet "Jugadi Science Pitari" consisting of 20-odd make-and-do science experiments for primary level students in Punjabi are capable providing hands-on experiences in the processes of science as well make children to learn basic concepts of science.
When demonstrated by teachers, experiments with low-cost and readily available material pep up science instruction and enliven scientific concepts.
The booklet was produced at a team work of Dr Lalit Kishore, HS Puri of KV2, NFL, Bathinda and Pritam Kaur, an elementary school level teacher in Punjab Government Education Department.
The project of trialing the experiments and production of the booklet was supported by the Punjab State Department of Science and Technology. The project won the recognition at the Commonwealth level on submission of a project report of 30-odd pages.
