Kirigami is the type of origami that includes cutting of the paper before or after folding the paper to make models or sculptures without any use of the glue.
The following tools are required for kirigami.
- Paper 
- Cutter / scissors 
- cutting mat / wood piece 
- metal of plastic ruler 
The process is as follows
- Take the paper 
- Fold the paper 
- Draw your design 
- Cut along the lines of the design 
- Fold, manipulate further or unfold the paper 
- Display or describe the the model 
It has been reported that kirigami when rightly pursued enhances visual inteligence, aesthetics, fine motor skills and attentiveness
Kirigami has been successfully tried by innovative teachers in inclusive classroom for its therapeutic and cognitive values.
