PHONICS AWARENESS
The English proximal consonant sound /h/ has the following attribute
It is voiceless fricative / hissing sound. A voiceless sound just makes use of air to make the sound.
Its speech organ is glottal / throat
In speaking /h/, the tongue does not touch any part of the mouth
In other words, /h/ is slightly voiced with a short burst of air from the mouth and is blended with the next sound of a word
