Need for care of mental health in testing times of second dreaded surge of COVID pandemic outbreak

It has been reported the the second surge of COVID 19 has heightened anxiety and stress leading to fear psychosis. related psycho-pathological issues and neuro-biological changes among people including the recovered patients, front line warriors and caregivers.


It is also being felt COVID-19 related fear psychosis and mental health issues during the testing times are being largely ignored and left unaddressed It is being said that the Novel Coronavirus has triggered a 'fear psychosis of epic proportions' that has affected large number of people in terms of affliction by mental disorders and trauma.

Pandemic has turned monstrous

Causing mass fear psychosis

Becoming deadly dismay of humanity


Life seems to be shut down

Making people feel

Hopelessly and helplessly isolated

Left to their fate

In perilous conditions


Testing times

Amidst untold suffering are here -

Fear psychosis is taking higher toll


The COVID-19 triggered Fear Psychosis -

The New Neuropsychiatric Condition -

Is leading to -

Higher post traumatic stress disorder

Among the recovered


Recurrent depression

Acute panic disorder

Severe obsessive compulsive disorder

Among the unaffected and caregivers

As well as frontline warriors

Prayers
