Relating emoji to language development of children with special needs

On the occasion of the World Emoji Day, there is a need for the teachers to learn how to draw emojis and use them for language learning as well activities of daily life.


An emoji is a small digital ideogram or icon used to express an idea or emotion in electronic communication.


A subset of emoji is smiley, which is a symbol representing a smiling face that is used in written communication for being pleased or joking, it is one kind of emoticons.


Teachers must learn to draw

· 12 facial expression emoji

· 12 hand gesture emoji

· 12 object emoji

· 12 action emojis
