School education appropriate spirituality: A sketch note
~Lalit Kiskore
It has been found that integrative spirituality - the one that reinforces content by using spiritual techniques and traditional arts-integration – is appropriate. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been promoting arts-integrated learning and skilling through spiritual techniques and principles. The Indian Knowledge systems (IKS) have also emphasized that the ancient scriptures like the Vedas and the Bhagavad Gita are needed to be tapped to enhance self-awareness and self-management skills of school students.
Read the sketch note and contemplate on it to know the meaning of spirituality and get the insights to adapt the techniques of spirituality to create interventions that enhance spiritual intelligence and integrate spiritual techniques to reinforce and actively remember the disciplinary content.
