Significance of intrinsic triangulation in qualitative contextual mixed methods studies: A Poem

For intrinsic triangulation, we seek,

It guides us well to make decisions right,

To keep our research on the proper path,

And find good answers, findings that are bright.

Intrinsic truth, its worth is very high,

In quota samples, when we choose by rule,

For R & D works, in progress and new thought,

And in studies of clinical schedule.

When more than one way helps us to explore,

Across the methods, varied and diverse,

Or when we work within one simple type,

A deeper view, a clearer truth will emerge.

Then let us use the varied tools we have:

Employ mix methods, how we plan our steps,

And use the data, from what we have learned,

The expert's wisdom, and the trusted peps,

The deep-set theories put into work,

The place around us, where the study sits,

And pull them all together, many ways,

To build a picture, where pieces truly fit.

In studies deep, or samples closely drawn,

Triangulation brings clarity and light,

A truth unveiled from dusk until the dawn,

No shaky ground, but firm and steady might.
