Teach through visual and musical intelligence for grades one and two


It has been found that for teaching children of grades one and two combining musical and visual intelligences is most effective since not only it leads to cognitive gains but also helps in improving attentiveness, eye-hand coordination, fine motor movement and interaction between two hemispheres of the brain.


The visual symbols for learning Hindi vowels through the following minimal visual drawing with four-line pedagogical poems describing the picture-objects through their attributes (shape, colour, touch, smell, sound function, utility as recognition and naming elements) along with successive drawing (see the drawings of visual symbols) was attempted at the level of learning material developers who themselves felt the improvement in their own multiple intelligence (see the inset picture of resource persons at work)
