Hummingbirds are small birds native to the Americas, but, look alike sun-
birds are found in Asia and Africa. A vast majority of the species are found in the tropics.
Hummingbirds are capable of flying forward, backward and upside down. They can hover for a long period of time during flight.
Hummingbirds are nectarivores and have long thin curved bill like a sword or sickle.
