In Canada, Thanksgiving Day is traditionally celebrated on the second Monday of October which falls on October 12 this year, informs facebook friend Praveen Kalara while sending the greetings of the day. On the other hand, in the US, it is celebrated in November end.
Thanksgiving weekend is often the last of the pleasant weather since winter in Canada is marked by severe cold and frigid temperatures later after a few weeks of October.
The dessert on the day is generally the pumpkin pie and possibly a maple patted butter tart to feast on with friends and relatives.

Get to wiggle room
With close friends, dear relations,
Pumpkin pie, tart, wine.
