SHORT NOTE
According to the IKS Division of Ministry of Education, established with a vision to promote interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary research on all aspects of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) (https://iksindia.org/images/2025/NPDF-amended-Dates-change-in-the-website-also.pdf) , comprises of Jnan, Vignan, and Jeevan Darshan of the people of Bharat continuously arising out of deep experience, observation, experimentation and rigorous analysis, with a tradition of validating and putting into practice in several areas including education, arts, administration, law, justice, health, manufacturing, and commerce, documented in classical and other languages of Bharat, and transmitted through textual, oral and artistic traditions. The IKS considers the Bhagavad Gita - the 700-verse Hindu scripture within the epic Mahabharata - that offers timeless wisdom on duty, morality, and self-realization, with universal appeal and practical guidance for a fulfilling life.
