Transition from sufferings to samadhi via eight-fold path of Buddhism: Message of Dharma Chakra Day

On June 4, 2020, the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) celebrated Asadha Poornima / Guru Purnima as Dharma Chakra Day at Sarnath to commemorates Buddha's First Sermon to his first five ascetic disciples at the Deer Park in the town.


The precept of Buddhist Dharma Chakra is represented by 8-spoke wheel which stands for the eight-fold path propounded by Lord Buddha for living a worthy life.


The Eight-fold Path consists of eight righteous Buddhist practices as follows: right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samadhi


Right Samadhi is considered to the highest state of human existence in which consciousness of meditative absorption leading to equanimity.


Here is my diamante poem that a contrast between sufferings in the world caused by desires and trasition to the blissful state of being or Right Samadhi as shown in the inset picture.
