Each year, on August 19, World Photography Day is observed and various groups on photography as a visual art celebrate the day and recognise the the work on photography.
World Photography Day is an annual, worldwide celebration of the art, craft, science and history of photography taking place on Friday, August 19th, 2022. "Be sure to share your best photos on social media and tag using #WorldPhotographyDay," urge the organizers of the observance.
"The unconventional photography pertains to creative visual art with a camera that employs unusual angles, novel perspectives, bold focus options, and unlikely chosen subjects such as smoke, fire, bubbles, mist, dew, clouds, ripples, waves, drops, oil on water surface, festival or moving lights (light trails, light painting), patterns, small subjects (macro-photography), silhouettes, broken composition, etc. At times, you get stunning and abstract pictures by being unconventional or creative photographer," said Dr Lalit Kishore, Jaipur based photography hobbyist and enthusiast, whose unconventional photographs have won recognition the years 2021 and 2022.
He received the “Cover Page Honour” from the Art House and the “World of Photography” besides winning the “Photography Art Award” from Show Your Talent Award (SYT) International Artists Group
According to Dr Kishore, those who wish be enhance their visual intelligence and creativity must experiment with ‘unconventional photography. The practice in such photography with the smart phone cameras can produce stunning photographs as a part of visual arts.
