It is suggested that for observing the International Women's Day on March 8, there is a need to understand the concept of 'gender' first and foremost, or else the observance would become a senseless ritualistic event. The official website of International Women's Day [2] in it's message says that the present world is a challenged world requiring alertness, and individually we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day. It urges, "So let's all choose to challenge. How will you help forge a gender equal world? Celebrate women's achievement. Raise awareness against bias. Take action for equality."
It has provided #ChooseToChallenge for selecting options to call out gender bias and inequality to take action for creation an inclusive world [3]. It is held that from challenge comes change, so it is desirable for all to choose a challenge for action
