"A mind which is constantly acquiring can obviously never be creative. It is only the free mind that is creative. There can be no freedom if every experience is stored up, because that which is accumulated becomes the centre of the 'me', of the 'I'," says noted thinker, speaker and philosopher J krishnamurti while adding that in its simplest meaning, freedom refers to the absence of compulsion or restraint or constraint by any external power.
In a way, all campaigns, rallies, events, hypes and celebrations in the the name of freedom are mere externalization leading to the alienation from the real value of freedom. According to Sartre, both the subject and object in tandem during an externalization of pre-reflexive consciousness is a “bad-faith” and renunciation of freedom.
Here is my non-poem on freedom as spiritual precept,
Non-poem
Want freedom!
Freedom’s too demanding
Stipulates freedom -
The dissolution of ‘You’
The demise of ‘ego’
-=-
Being free means -
Being no-one
Being nothing
Being mysterious
Lost in eternal ‘Unknown’
-=-
Loose every thing you have
Undo yourself wholly
Now-n-here
To be free for ever
