According to him, the liking of children of in the early primary grades are the stories; pictures, cartoons or visuals; collection of objects; singing; dancing; role playing ; excursions, personification; recitation ; shouting; pranks; laughter; receiving praise and approval; gaining attention; playing games; making things; undoing and re-doing things. And, all these can be used procedural for cognitive

The un-fulfilment of the interests and lack of self-fulfilment in schools or lack of use of these activities leads to unruly behaviour, destruction of things and bullying, states Kishore in his article now listed at "Articles - Play Therapy" [1]

Education therapy which promotes mental well-being of children along with giving them a feel for success in learning results in happy education and happy nation. He suggests that the New Education Policy on anvil in India must focus on education for happy learning and well being of children in early grades.

In an another article, Kishore holds that if dance is to be included as part of education therapy, it is not to be copied or thought as to normal children, rather, it has be linked to a small bite of curriculum with 'dance like' adapted movements. Converting a skill, art form or activity into education therapy is a skill which a special educator and general teacher can acquire through background knowledge, designing and trying out adapted activities.
