If you wish to do compositional photography on Sharad Punrima (Oct 30, 2020) with a mobile camera, the following tips are going to be useful.

  • Use a tripod or firm rest for the camera there is no camera shake on clicking

  • Set the camera to ISO 100.

  • Choose speed around 1/60th to 1/125th.

  • Set the focus to infinity

  • For showing fore ground compose the pictures with tree branches or other framing objects

In case, you wish to go light painting photography of moon as a subject and the camera as the brush, zoom in the camera and put the camera to lowest available shutter speed option. Move the camera at random.

On October 30, 2020 there is close proximity between the

moon and the Venus that too can lead to some good compositional pictures with tilt and shift technique.

For just photographing the Moon, one requires a tripod mounted camera and a long lens of more than 200 mm. Zoom in the camera as far possible with a timer click or remote clip with a cable or blue tooth.
