"Blue Moons are the second full moons of the two rare full moons that fall in the same calendar month and are worth watching for the sky gazers," says Jaipur based educator and researcher, Dr Lalit Kishore who always takes photographs of the special full moons adding that the moon does not appear blue but called so because of the rarity of the event which has found a place in literature with the phrase 'once in a blue moon'.
He adds that the summer season of the year 2021 is being marked by the following four uncommon and frequent full moon, which occur after two to three years as follows.
-June 24
-July 23
-August 22
-September 20
One must watch the full moon tonight and try taking its pictures. Those, who wish to relax must do a bit shear moon gazing for a while, he suggests. "Moon gazing, when done with feeling of awe, wonder and connectivity with limitless space, alms human mind and fills it with a sense of humility. Many experts have used steady non-reactive moon gazing as a meditative and therapeutic intervention to calm stressed people," he informs. He also recommends, one must also watch and wonder about the scenes around oneself under the cool light of full moon.
