Jaipur based educator and researcher, Dr Lalit Kishore, who has done a course in School Technology at the Nottingham Trent University in 1977 ( then Nottingham Trent Polytechnic) on a Commonwealth Fellowship, was cited (see inset clipping) in the research paper authored by Raghuram, Parvati (2004) titled “Migration, Gender, and the IT Sector: Intersecting Debates” [1].
Raghuram (2004), puts forth that there was under-representation of women in the IT sector which was the industry with ‘hyper-mobile landscape of work’ and ‘structured towards career flexibility and job mobility’ and their implications for women who seek work in this sector had been hardly discussed. Full paper is available at Research Gate website [2] also.
