World is false and soul is real: Poem

The world we see is shifting sand,

A fleeting show, a whispered lie,

It slips right through the searching hand.

Each moment new, a different strand,

The past is gone, the future nigh,

The world we see is shifting sand.

No lasting truth on solid land,

Just change and loss beneath the sky,

The world we see is shifting sand.

The soul's the anchor, close at hand,

Where peace resides, and troubles fly,

It slips right through the searching hand.

Find solace there, understand,

The real remains when dreams go by,

The world we see is shifting sand,

It slips right through the searching hand.
