ABC of Indian Constitution: Special on Constitution Day



On the occasion of the Constitution Day / National Law Day (November 26), the President of India Ram Nath Kovind led the nation in reading the Preamble to the Constitution of India which is a set of written principles and precedents of the Government of India to function.


The observance commemorates the adoption of the Constitution in India on November 26 in 1949. However, it came into force on January 26, 1950. The aim is to promote constitutional values among all citizens including politicians.

E: Equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India


However, many think that there has been a serious erosion of democratic values and an environment of fear and distrust prevails to lead democracy to perils.
