Conference Brief
The Bhagavad Gita offers timeless wisdom for living a meaningful life with purpose and connection. It transcends being merely a spiritual text; it serves as a solution to the worldly challenges faced by humanity. This sacred scripture presents a multi-disciplinary framework for contemporary governance, psychology, ethics, and sustainability. There is a growing concern regarding the decline of Lokasamgraha, or collective social well-being. The deterioration of global unity for the common good is a fundamental cause of today's international conflicts, geopolitical tensions, and mental health crises. The Gita provides guidance through the principle of Swadharma, which emphasizes duty-consciousness and ethical responsibility, combined with the principle of Lokasamgraha, which embodies the spirit of universal welfare. To achieve global peace and harmony, we must shift human consciousness from self-centered consumerism to a focus on the welfare of all, recognizing ourselves as one human race.
INSPIRED POEM
Timeless wisdom, ages old,
The Gita’s wisdom, brave and bold.
Not just for grand halls, hushed and deep,
But for the promises we keep.
A life of worth, a guiding star,
To know our purpose, near and far.
To feel connected, heart to heart,
A brand new, hopeful, vital start.
It's more than spirits, veiled in rhyme,
It mends the troubles of our time.
For every struggle, every quest,
The Gita offers, truly blessed.
For front leaders, who chart the course,
Roadmap found, with collective force.
In minds, in ethics, fair and bright,
It shines a path, with pure delight.
We see the weave of us undone,
The common good, by all outrun.
This break in ties, the world's great pain,
Where conflicts bloom and sorrows reign.
But Gita shows, a way to mend,
With Swadharma, on which to depend.
Our inner duty, clear and true,
With kindness for me and for you.
And Lokasamgraha, strong and wide,
The spirit of all, side by side.
So let us learn, and let us grow,
And let this timeless wisdom flow.
In Summary
Kishore (2026) frames the Indian ancient scripture 'the Bhagavad Gita' as an actionable blueprint for modern conflict resolution. It centers on Samadarshana, the practice of seeing divine equality in all living beings to erase deep-seated social and cultural divisions. Furthermore, the Holy Text links individual duty, or Swadharma, to universal well-being, arguing that fulfilling personal responsibilities with detachment cures modern competitive burnout and role conflict. Rather than encouraging world-renunciation, the text urges transforming daily actions into selfless service to cultivate global harmony.
