Book Worth: Dr Kishore’s book recommended by Punjabi University for special paper on value education

The book “Value-oriented education: Foundations and Frontiers: World over-view” got recommended by the Punjabi University, Patiala for special paper on Value Education of their BEd course for the years 2011 and 2012.

The book authored by Dr Lalit Kishore (1990) is published by Delhi-based Doaba House in 1991 suggests various school disciplines should be presented in a values-charged learning environment and making use of value clarification strategy, case method and process-based experiential approach of learning.

Dr Kishore is currently freelancing as an educational consultant and is associated with some NGOs, special schools and private schools for curriculum and pedagogy reforms.

Earlier, Dr Kishore has worked as the Director of Jeewan Vigyan Academy, Landunu, located at Jain Vishav Bharati campus that ran a value education course called Science of Living (Jeewan Vigyan) and reorganized the curriculum to make it activity-based and also carried out a few research studies on value education.
