I did the module on quality education at UNESCO's International Institute of Educational Planning (IIEP) in Paris. "For decades, UNESCO has been providing technical assistance and capacity development services on education management, monitoring and evaluation to Member States mobilizing its network of field offices and specialized institutes (notably IIEP and UIS). UNESCO also promotes the development of standards, methodologies, and tools to help governments strengthen their education management capacities and setup digitalized information systems (EMIS)," claims UNESCO .
UNESCO has brought out publications such as 'Strengthening education management information systems for increased resilience to crises: a synthesis of case studies" and "Education microplanning toolkit: introductory module" which can be useful for the middle level educational functionare to improve education systems under their charge.
After, the course at IIEP, I did a few write ups on educational management which have got cited in some publications (see inset clipping)
"Educational management is the field focused on administering educational organizations and systems to effectively achieve educational goals. It involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling resources to create a conducive learning environment. This field draws on various theories and practices from management and administration to optimize educational processes and outcomes," informs an AI Overview. "Educational management is a dynamic field that requires constant adaptation to new technologies, pedagogical approaches, and societal changes...Educational management is crucial for the success of any educational institution, from primary schools to universities. It provides the framework for effective administration, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently and that students receive a high-quality education" it adds.
