Emergent Power Politics : Poem
A crisis brewed, a shadow cast so deep,
To make the people restless, while they sleep.
The leaders learned, with cunning and with art,
To fan the flames and tear the world apart.
They speak of threats, of dangers drawing near,
And whisper doubts to sow the seeds of fear.
With urgent pleas, they claim a vital need,
For their firm grasp, to plant a potent seed.
They build a wall, of smoke and subtle lies,
And claim the right, beneath deceptive skies.
From alarm's sharp cry, to power's steady gaze,
The narrative's the weapon in these days.
With tales of crisis, they ensure their stay,
And rule through fear, to have their 'sovereign' way.
