Jaipur Based Researchers, Dr L Kishore, Er P Arora and Prabha Awasthi win C'Wealth Award 2025

The team project "Bringing Educational Engineering Awareness and Literacy to School Students" done jointly by Dr. L. Kishore, Er. P. Arora and Prabha Awasthi has won the Commonwealth Award for 2025.
Through an email to Prabha Awasthi, the Vice-Chair of Commonwealth Association of Science, Technology and Mathematics Educators (CASTME), Kath Nugent, informed, "I am delighted to let you know that the CASTME Trustees decided to award the CASTME STEM & Literacy Award 2025 for the project 'Bringing Educational Engineering Awareness and Literacy to School Students.' The project team will receive a CASTME Certificate and a monetary award to the value of £50 GBP.

ABCs of Educational Engineering
A: Applied educational science that involves the systematic process of designing and developing learning materials, courses, and multimedia content that are engaging and effective for learners
B: Blending digital learning and knowledge construction, creating or overseeing the production of e-learning courses, virtual reality simulations, and other digital educational tools for customized learning modules
C: Core goal is to enhance teachers' and students' abilities to identify, formulate, and solve complex, real-world problems by applying scientific and engineering principles.
D: Drawing on principles from educational theory and cognitive science to understand how people learn and how to apply this knowledge to create more effective learning environments.
E: Evolving innovative courses and curricula in institutions to improve learner engagement and learning outcomes as per emergent educational demands by incorporating technological literacy and engineering concepts into school curricula from an early age to prepare students for the future.
