Google (2026) [1] with the prompt informed "Dr. Lalit Kishore is a Jaipur-based educator and researcher who reviewed and refined the draft manuscripts for the new edition of textbooks on Jeevan Vigyan (Science of Living-SOL) in his role with the Jain Vishva Bharati (JVA)." He helped edit, review, and refine the curriculum to support the balanced development of student. According Jain World (n.d.)[2], education provides the foundation for all-round development of a human being. It shapes the personality of an individual. Of all the experiments which have so far been conducted in the field of education, Science of Living has come to be reckoned as an original experiment. In this system a student is made to study less and more time and energy is devoted to practice and experimentation on the self. For the revival of values and fuller development of the human personality, the subject of Science of Living has been conceived and developed, its source of inspiration is Anuvrat Disciplinarian Shri Tulsi. His thoughts have been further developed and expanded by Acharya Shri Mahapragya.
"The syllabus of Jeevan Vigyan has been formulated for all levels of students beginning from class-1 up to graduation standard. Keeping in view the needs and the pace of learning of the students, the syllabus has been divided into twelve units as follows: Sound; Resoluteness; Right Exercise; Right breathing; Kayotsarg, Preksha DhyanAnatomy; Health science;Mental health; Emotional health Awareness of values; and Non-violence," it adds
Beginning with the use and development of sound, these units graduate into generation of awareness of values and promotion of non-violence. The sound has utmost impact on the way we live and conduct ourselves. We receive and communicate knowledge and scientific attitude through sound. The balanced development of sound is the basis of peaceful coexistence. No human being can succeed in life without the development of resolute will-power. Strong will-power liberates us from undesirable conduct and guides us towards right conduct.

Earlier, Kishore wrote a short note 'Mind your speech and voice and train them for good, kind, soothing and sweet words' on the first chapter of SOL 'Sound' for a portal which has closed now. He wrote "Prayers, short interactions, daily life communication and recital of verses of scriptures require sweet voice which can be acquired with guidance and practice. Moreover, spiritual pursuits require sweet, melodious and hypnotic voice, many cultures emphasize that speech should never hurt anyone, it is considered to be bad deed or karma with bad retribution. Foul mouthing and slander are considered to the most basic sins in many religions."
He added, "If your voice is harsh, too loud, too fast, cracking, negative, cynical, sharp, gossipy, negative or weird; you need to change vocal habits. Voice trainers and language teachers who follow positive psychology and communicative approach to language listening and speaking have developed interventions to change voice and make it sweet, melodious and impressive."

In Summary Kishore (2026) explores an innovative value educational framework rooted in Jain spiritual traditions. Developed to address ethical gaps in modern, materialistic education, Jeevan Vigyan, or the Science of Living, focuses on holistic character building and personal transformation through 12 themes. The approach integrates Preksha Meditation, behavioral psychology, and practical adaptations of core Jain vows such as non-violence and self-restraint. By training the nervous and endocrine systems through secular spiritual practices, the framework aims to foster emotional balance, moral discipline, and intellectual growth in students, ultimately cultivating a more harmonious and peaceful society.
