Introductory note
The world dominated by technology, glam and glamour has become excessively materialistic, causing spiritual identity development to be neglected. This has led to an imbalanced growth, highlighting the necessity for spiritual identity development right from the foundational stage of child growth. The stages of development progress from a state of unconsciousness or pre-awareness to fostering self-awareness and ultimately integration with spiritual self-identity. This process involves an internal journey that includes habits such as reviewing experiences, training in attentiveness, visualization, introspection, self-reflection, and meditation, all contributing to a unified sense of self that is rooted in human values of inclusion and equity.
Inspired Poem
Screens glow bright, fingers tap fast,
Shiny new wonders, not made to last.
We chase and we buy, more and more,
A hollow feeling at the spirit's core.
Child's growth is lopsided, tilting askew,
A vital, deep part, not breaking through.
Garden of self-awareness, left just unkept,
While outer attractions are deeply swept.
A self that is solid, true, kind, and free,
Seeing all others, like branches on a tree.
No one is separate, all sharing this Earth,
With fairness and welcome, for everyone's worth.
To truly stand steady, strong and complete,
A different foundation, oh so sweet.
From a child's first breath, a tender, soft start,
Building the spirit, right in the heart.
