Seek not happiness in outer transient world: A Gita inspired poem

We all seek happiness, a shining prize,
And think it hides within the world we see,
In fleeting things beneath deluding skies,
A mirage beckoning constantly.
We chase a dream that fades as we draw near,
This transient world, a promise left undone,
While close at hand, dispelling every fear,
An oasis waits, a brighter sun.
For happiness, a wellspring deep inside,
Needs no grand quest, no journey far to roam,
But through a pathway gently we must stride,
To find the bliss that makes the soul its home.
Let selfless love, knowledge 'n deeds be your guide,
And inner happiness will blossom deep inside.
