In the year 2026, Mahavir Jayanti, also known as Mahavir Janma Kalyanak, is the most celebrated Jai festival that falls on March 31.
The observance is one of the most important religious festivals for the followers of Jainism that celebrates the birth of Lord Mahavira, the twenty-fourth and last Tirthankara of the faith. On this day, devotees chant prayers, mantras and listen to the teaching of Lord Mahavira from the monks and munis.
