Read the following sketch note carefully for more understanding about children with ASD

World Autistic Pride Day is observed annually on June 18 to recognise unique strengths of people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their capacity to learn and make contributions. The learning style of autistic people is different, we need to accept, understand, and appreciate neurodiversity along with challenging misconceptions, stigmatization of stereotyping about autism.
Since, people with autism can learn through designed interventions leading to inclusion and acceptance with pride, thus, there is a need to work with renewed commitment to research, diagnoses, treatment, and acceptance for those affected by ASD developmental disorder.
According to the organizers of the observance, in 2025, the theme is "Unapologetically Autistic" to empower autistic individuals to embrace their authentic selves without pressure from society to respect their traits as a diversity. "It (the theme) actively challenges outdated narratives by celebrating neurodiversity as a valuable aspect of human variation, promoting a global movement of pride and self-advocacy," states the Pace Hospitals. They add, "Autism is usually first diagnosed in childhood. About one in 110 children is diagnosed with autism. The prevalence of autism spectrum disorders in boys is three-four times greater than in girls. In many cases, autism is a lifelong disorder, but studies demonstrate an increase in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders who eventually function independently and lead full lives."
