World Civil Defence Day 2023, celebrated on March 1, has the theme 'Uniting the world's leading industry specialists for the safety & security of future generations.' Often, the day is often celebrated to honour exemplar Civil Defence personnel and organizing civil defence mock drills.

C: Coordinating with government agencies to get training to protect self and help people at time of external aggression, riots and natural disasters such as fires, hurricanes, floods or earthquakes
D: Developing a system of civil defence through training of volunteers so as help the armed forces, medical services, or police force to maintain order and help people in need
