Be Christ, Embodiment of Spiritual Qualities and Shed Dogma: True Message of Easter

Nailed hands, a crown of thorn,

"Forgive," he breathes, freshly torn.

They drive the nails, fueled by fear,

Blind to the truth, held so dear.

A single soul, in every breast,

Unseen by them, put to the test.

I see it though, the spark divine,

And love them still, this soul of mine.

Before they ask, forgiveness flows,

Their ignorance, a mercy shows.

No wicked deed, can dim the light,

In darkness deep, Christ shines so bright.

Through jeers and pain, he stands serene,

An inner peace, a grace unseen.

He conquers death, he rises free,

A soulful life, for all to see.

He lived and breathed, beyond all creed,

No Christian then, but planted seed.

To be the Christ, a living flame,

Not just a name, within a frame.

Beyond the church, beyond the book,

A deeper truth, in which to look.

To be the love, the peace, the grace,

Embody Christ, in time and space.

Shed the label, be the core,

Let dogma fall, and spirit soar.

No empty form, but vibrant life,

Be Christ-like now, escape the strife.
